I reached out to Matt from Oregon Coast Pickers to see if they were interested in coming out to Otis, Oregon and pick my barn and treasure room.  Even though I was located a bit outside their travel zone, they decided to make the trip and arrived at our scheduled time. 

Matt & Annie were so polite and a total pleasure to deal with and understood my situation dealing with a husband fighting Stage 4 cancer..  They spent a few hours going through all of my treasures and gave me fair prices for everything they purchased.  

A few items Matt was interested in viewing were deeply buried in my barn.  Once I can unbury them, I'm sure they will be back to do a second round of picking.  I would highly recommend reaching out to Matt from Oregon Coast Pickers if you have a barn, garage, attic, or storage that needs picking.

Matt came to our house and explained how he works, and looked at what we had.  He picked what he wanted. He was very nice and we liked him alot. Then we talked prices and we got cash money on the spot! I would have him over again if I had more stuff he wanted. It was fun!

Matt was very helpful when we had to sell my Aunts house… downsizing a 3500 sq ft home full of 47 years of memories was an emotional journey, not to mention a lot of hard physical labor. 

We contacted him to help us clear out her home and get ready for our estate sale. He was great!  He did that and also offered help finding local resources, and he turned out to be a close neighbor. 

Matt made us cash offers on our stuff and bought 16 boxes of books, and countless other items. He seemed to have a good eye for interesting retro items. He was also VERY kind, sensitive, and patient with my aunt when she had difficulty parting with some of her belongings.   

Last, but not forgotten… Matt, after looking through the hundreds of books and other items that he took home, made sure to return what he believed to be valuable and sentimental to our family.  Nice man.

It was such a positive experience and such a good feeling and I felt totally comfortable letting you do what you do in any part of the house and I knew that I did not need to be over your shoulder because you have those qualities, integrity, and honesty.  That really matters when dealing with people and a business and it's those kind of qualities,  combined with your kindness, and it was such a great deal.   I mean it was more than a fair deal for me, I actually feel kind of bad, you were more than fair and I'm really grateful to have met you both.  I hope that I can find a way to thank you both and would love to have you back anytime.
